Cranbrook School is proud of the exceptional achievements of our students in the 2026 examinations. Their dedication and hard work led to another strong set of results, reflecting both their individual ambition and the high standards of teaching and support across the school.
GCSE Results 2026
Our Year 11 students achieved an impressive set of results:
- 88.4% achieved grade 5 or above in both English and Mathematics
- 97.3% achieved grade 4 or above
- 53.4% achieved at least five grades at levels 7 to 9
Many students pursued a broad curriculum spanning Sciences, Mathematics, English, Languages and Humanities. This breadth provides both variety and challenge while allowing students to develop their individual interests and strengths.
A-Level Results 2026
Our Sixth Form students also achieved excellent outcomes:
- 35.6% of grades were awarded at A*–A
- 69.8% of grades were awarded at A*–B
- 88.9% of grades were awarded at A*–C
Of our 151 Year 13 students, 70% secured a place at their first-choice university on Results Day. By the following Monday, 97% had secured a place with which they were happy, including those who found opportunities through Clearing.
Their destinations reflect the breadth of interests and ambitions fostered at Cranbrook:
- 44 students progressed to STEM courses, including 12 studying Engineering, with half securing places at Russell Group universities
- 23 students progressed to courses in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Actuarial Science, with 70% securing places at Russell Group universities including Warwick, LSE, York and Bristol
- 10 students progressed to healthcare-related courses, including seven who received offers to study Medicine
- Two students secured degree apprenticeships
- 20% of the cohort gained places at universities ranked among the UK’s top 10
