Ofsted inspected Cranbrook School in May 2026 under its new inspection framework. Rather than giving schools a single overall judgement, the new Ofsted report card evaluates individual areas of a school against a five-point scale.
Cranbrook was judged to be operating at a Strong standard in three areas, with the remaining four areas meeting the Expected standard.

Overall judgement: Outstanding
Ofsted’s most recent boarding inspection rated Cranbrook School Outstanding across all areas. Inspectors praised the quality of relationships between students and staff, the strength of our safeguarding culture and the highly effective leadership within boarding.
