Extended Day

Our Extended Day programme is tailored for day students from Year 7 and above, providing the perfect balance of academic support, enrichment opportunities, and wraparound care. Launching in September 2024, this initiative is designed to support families in juggling school and work commitments while offering students the chance to thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.

What’s Included?
The Extended Day programme offers:

  • Early drop-off at the Boarding House from 7:30 am.
  • Late pick-up until 9:30 pm, with flexible options for collection at 6:30 pm, 8:30 pm or 9:30 pm.
  • Supervised prep support (7:00 – 8:30 pm) with Cranbrook staff to enhance academic progress.
  • Delicious meals, including breakfast, supper, and an afternoon snack.
  • Access to school facilities such as the gym, Sports Hall, and Sixth Form Centre after hours.
  • A safe and supportive environment to relax or participate in after-school clubs and activities.

Flexible and Affordable
Available Monday to Thursday during term time only, the programme costs just £30 per day, providing excellent value for both academic support and care.

How to Book
Booking is easy:

  1. Contact extended@cranbrook.kent.sch.uk for enquiries.
  2. Complete and return the Extended Day agreement.
  3. Pre-pay via ParentMail.

Bookings can be made up to two weeks in advance. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
