Victoria Wallace presentation to students
Sixth Form students and the Lower School were treated to an excellent talk this morning by Victoria Wallace, Director General of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. As an Old Cranbrookian Victoria was able to politics, history, ethics and her knowledge of the school and its community to very good effect. This was very timely with our own Act of Remembrance now imminent.
Staff, parents and students may like to watch The Unremembered: Britain’s Forgotten War Heroes on Sunday 10 November at 10pm on Channel 4. The presenter is David Lammy and the programme includes an interview with Old Cranbrookian Victoria Wallace, who is Director-General of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
