Student to compete at the Junior Inter-Regional Regatta
Martha in Year 10 has recently competed at Eton Dorney, Windsor, in the Scullery Head, where she and her coxed quad placed 39th out of 66 competitors.
Having won the coxless double at Maidstone Head and Albert Dock, Martha has been selected to represent the Thames South East Region at the Peterborough Junior Inter-Regional Regatta. The Junior Inter-Regional Regatta (JIRR) is a competitive but fun event for junior rowers aged between 14 and 16, giving them the opportunity to represent their region at the start of the international pathway. More than 900 competitors from schools and junior clubs race in 24 different categories.
We look forward to hearing how Martha gets on and wish her all the best in her rowing career!
