Cranbrook School students compete in Sevenoaks Senior Knole Run 2020

On Saturday 11th January, seven Cranbrook School students took part in the Sevenoaks Senior Knole Run 2020, a grueling race through the beautiful National Trust area in Sevenoaks.

There were 210 competitors in the boys’ 5.8 mile run, and 103 in the girls’ 3.1 mile run across rugged and uneven terrain in very cold and muddy conditions. Huge congratulations to all of our runners; it was not an easy task and was very busy!

The results are as follows:

  • Sophie Slack, 20 minutes 45 seconds, placed 10th in the girls’ senior race
  • Leonora Lynn, 27 minutes 40 seconds, placed 91st in the girls’ senior race
  • William Clark, 39 minutes 36 seconds, placed 82nd in the boys’ senior race
  • Charlie Ellison, 42 minutes 21 seconds, placed 122nd in the boys’ senior race
  • George Kite, 47 minutes 7 seconds, placed 174th in the boys’ senior race
  • Baxter Stanton, 49 minutes 50 seconds, placed 188th in the boys’ senior race
  • Fermin Saenz-Celma, 51 minutes 55 seconds, placed 196th in the boys’ senior race.

Fantastic results from all our runners, especially to Sophie who inched into the top 10 out of 103 racers! As always, our Cranbrook School athletes have proven that they are a force to be reckoned with at any level. Well done!

Sports Day was highly competitive and so much fun for all involved. Events included track, field, fun relays and our favourite event Tug of War. Great way to finish the term! 😃 Photos courtesy of Ali Kittermaster. Gallery will be available from Monday.

Cranbrook 1st beat the OC’s in their last match of the season by 4 runs. What a brilliant game, clearly enjoyed by all. Good luck to the OC’s in your next few games. Well done and thank you to all our Year 13 Leavers, particularly Cam, Piers and The Laver lads. 🏏💪🏆
