Cranbrook School - Respect Aspire Achieve

News from Friends of Urambo & Mwanhala

We were delighted to receive a message from FUM (Friends of Urambo & Mwanhala), Our Tanzania link charity:

Thanks to some very generous individual contributions from parents and OC’s FUM have been able to complete the building of a modern house for the families with albinism at Mambali village. They have also been able to provide some special skin protective creams for the families. The borehole at Isegenhe village which the school have raised funds for has been completed so the village now has a supply of fresh water with the new pump set to last for a long time.

The next projects we are supporting with the monies raised from the charity walk and other events this year will be a maternity building in Kalamendi village and a classroom for special needs education at Iyomobo village primary school.

The photos show the house in Mambali being handed over to the family this week.

All those we support in Tanzania say ASANTENI SANA to everyone who helps raise funds for the projects.
