Cranbrook School - Respect Aspire Achieve

KSSA competition results

Eight Cranbrook School students travelled to Margate on Saturday 11th January on a chilly morning to race at the Kent Schools Swimming Association competition.

It was very busy, with over 200 swimmers from schools all over Kent. The competition was fierce, and our eight swimmers took part in 12 events from the 100m breaststroke, 100m backstroke, 200m individual medley to the the 100m fly and 100m freestyle, all with boys’ and girls’ categories and age groups.

Congratulations to both Hayden Annan, who placed 1st in the 100m freestyle and 3rd in the 100m fly for his age category, and Erica Catt who placed 6th for her age category in the 100m breaststroke.

Though many of our students did not place in the events, it was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm and spirit in what was a very busy and large swimming event. Well done to everyone who took part!
