House Cross Country this year saw over 400 students taking part – a record number! The idea was to encourage participation and house spirit as well as the usual competitive element, and this certainly worked and challenged the organisation of the event.  

The winning teams for the competitive boy’s event was Allan and for participation was Rammell with 88%.  Webster won the girl’s event and Blubery the participation with 58% competing and finishing the race.

Well done to all that were involved both running and on the organisation side too.  Thanks also to Ali Kittermaster for some truly wonderful photos which capture so many positive elements behind why we run these events. Here are a few of the photos:

A funny thing happened on the way to the forum this am… I saw ACTUAL ROMAN PILLARS coming into Cranbrook on a ute for the Apple Fayre! Town closed but forum well and truly open. Brilliant. See you in Octogas later @SchoolCranbrook apple juice stall.
