Cranbrook School competes at the Kent Schools AA Cross Country Championships

On Saturday 18th January 2020, Leonara Lynn and William Savage took part in the Kent Schools AA Cross Country Championships in Dover.

There was plenty of competition as many schools from all over Kent came together to race the meandering track around the Duke of Yorks Royal Military School. Representing Cranbrook School in the senior girl’s race was Leonora Lynn, and William Savage competed in the Year 7 boy’s race. Both students did their best and Leonora placed 23rd in her 4,000m race with a time of 18:47, and William placed 34th in his 3,000m race with a time of 12:24.

A huge well done to both students and we look forward to plenty more competitions in the future!

Cranbrook’s Equestrian Team led by Millie Seymour and Natasha Jobson had their first competition this weekend. Pictured below at the first NSEA event of the term. Placed 2nd Mia Waterman, Millie Seymour, Hope Rutter & Floss Shimmin. Great start girls.

This week’s theme was “support” so it’s great to see the year 7 running some good support lines and creating opportunities to offload. 🏉
