On Wednesday 23rd June, Year 12 Spanish students Sasha Cordero, Tatum Du Labh, Nerea Guindos and Maddie Rolls took part in an Inter-School Online Debate Competition organised by Business Language Champions against Royal Grammar School Colchester. Students took part in two debates entirely in Spanish, one prepared and one unseen and did incredibly well!
The team won the first debate and came within one point of winning the second, with Tatum getting a mention as runner-up to the title of outstanding participant! They worked amazingly as a team, confidently showing off their Spanish!
Well done to all concerned.
Yes, there’s been some amazing running, jumping and throwing, but THIS is the big one. Mrs Homewood in her element with Horsley!
Sports Day was highly competitive and so much fun for all involved. Events included track, field, fun relays and our favourite event Tug of War. Great way to finish the term! 😃 Photos courtesy of Ali Kittermaster. Gallery will be available from Monday.4
Cranbrook 1st beat the OC’s in their last match of the season by 4 runs. What a brilliant game, clearly enjoyed by all. Good luck to the OC’s in your next few games. Well done and thank you to all our Year 13 Leavers, particularly Cam, Piers and The Laver lads. 🏏💪🏆2
Great to have @iambenwest to address our leavers at Speech Day today. OC to OC: don’t just talk about change, make it happen. Very powerful words. Thank you Ben. And it didn’t rain (much)!
