Cranbrook School - Respect Aspire Achieve

School Development

The function of the Development Office at Cranbrook is to support the School in its aim of providing students with an exceptional education experience. This is achieved through promoting the School’s vision for the future and securing the funding needed to ensure that this vision is achievable.

As a state school with constant pressure on central funding, we recognise the need to pursue all forms of external finance in order to achieve these goals. It is often due to the generosity of parents, Old Cranbrookians and members of the wider Cranbrook community that projects of all sizes are successfully funded and in use today, for which Cranbrook is deeply grateful.

Campaigns in the past have successfully fundraised to build excellent facilities such as our Sixth Form Centre, Performing Arts Centre, Medical Centre and Astro-turf surfaces. Around the School, many plaques can be found in honour of Cranbrook benefactors who have generously chosen to remodel and renovate science labs, classrooms and other facilities. The culture of giving within the Cranbrook community is a great asset to a school that has provided young people with solid preparation for bright futures since 1518.
