Cranbrook School - Respect Aspire Achieve

Curriculum 2020+

Cranbrook School aims to provide a broad and balanced curriculum, which promotes the moral, spiritual, cultural, mental and physical development of all our students. The curriculum should also prepare our students for the challenges and responsibilities of adult life. We seek to provide choice and encourage independent thinking, providing the tools to succeed in the modern world. Students should be able to maximise their potential and to leave school aware that with ability comes the responsibility to use it for the betterment of all.

For most subjects, Year 9 is the completion of Key Stage 3 and the start of the GCSE curriculum and we accelerate students into Key Stage 4 programmes of study in the three science subjects in Year 9.
