Trip, Tours and Exchanges
Students at Cranbrook have many opportunities to take part in school trips at home and abroad.
Some are linked to course-work such as language exchanges, history Battlefields trip or geography field work. Others are based around sports or co-curricular interests. But whatever the reason, all share the underlying purpose of broadening our students’ experiences and helping them understand the wider world from a fresh perspective. On-going or recent highlights include:
- An exchange partnership with a school in Kersala, southern India. Our students visit during the October half-term with their counterparts coming the other way the following summer.
- Our hockey and rugby teams have enjoyed sports tours to a number of countries. Most recently Hong Kong and New Zealand.
- There have also been classics trips to Italy and Greece, food trips to France, and diving trips to Egypt in the last couple of years.
- And finally, our Ski addicts always manage to find a little snow in Europe or the USA when the piste’s open for business.
