Cranbrook School - Respect Aspire Achieve

Trip, Tours and Exchanges

Students at Cranbrook have many opportunities to take part in school trips at home and abroad.

Some are linked to course-work such as language exchanges, history Battlefields trip or geography field work.  Others are based around sports or co-curricular interests. But whatever the reason, all share the underlying purpose of broadening our students’ experiences and helping them understand the wider world from a fresh perspective. On-going or recent highlights include:

  • An exchange partnership with a school in Kersala, southern India. Our students visit during the October half-term with their counterparts coming the other way the following summer.
  • Our hockey and rugby teams have enjoyed sports tours to a number of countries. Most recently Hong Kong and New Zealand.
  • There have also been classics trips to Italy and Greece, food trips to France, and diving trips to Egypt in the last couple of years.
  • And finally, our Ski addicts always manage to find a little snow in Europe or the USA when the piste’s open for business.

Cranbrook’s Equestrian Team led by Millie Seymour and Natasha Jobson had their first competition this weekend. Pictured below at the first NSEA event of the term. Placed 2nd Mia Waterman, Millie Seymour, Hope Rutter & Floss Shimmin. Great start girls.

This week’s theme was “support” so it’s great to see the year 7 running some good support lines and creating opportunities to offload. 🏉
