A B-line for Cranbrook

Down at the bottom of Cornwallis Field, Cranbrook’s a glorious sea of wildflowers in bloom.

The Cranbrook History Society approached us last year to get involved in the B-Line project, where local communities and organisations set aside some land for bee pollinator friendly planting. It is a national initiative run through Buglife and apparently Cranbrook and Sissinghurst are prime areas for B-lines!

In the autumn the ground staff seeded a large patch of land behind Cornwallis Field with bee friendly wild flowers which now look fabulous as well as helping the bees.
