Snowboard ‘freestyling’ for Cranbrook Student

On Friday 10th November, James Lee (Year 9 HB) took part in Britain’s longest running snowboard competition at the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead.

Participants from all over the UK entered and had to ride ‘freestyle’ in front of the judges whilst performing tricks on the rails, half pipe, boxes and a huge kicker where riders gain air time to flip and rotate their boards.

Although James wasn’t placed he thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will be entering more competitions throughout the year.

Congratulations James.
