New Sixth Form Centre

Turning Tradition into Tomorrow

A new Sixth Form Centre is coming to the heart of Cranbrook School.

Transforming your child’s experience of sixth form life.

Preparing them for A levels and beyond

A message from the Campaign  Chair:

Fellow parents, your new sixth form centre fundraising campaign has come to an end, at last.  The Old Gym is out of commission from 31st January 2017 as it prepares to be transformed into a fantastic new facility for the students at Cranbrook School.

Huge thanks should go to all those in our community who gave to make it happen and to the small but perfectly formed army of volunteers who gave up their time/lives to raise the funds.

There has been a wonderful response to the letter than went out to all parents in the first week of this term, gift pledges have been arriving every day at Barham House ever since.  This has brought our final total to a tremendous £731,856 – a really extraordinary achievement for the school community.  Again, a big and marvellous “thank you” to everyone who has given.

This week we have been meeting again with the company who will be fitting out the interior of the new sixth form centre.  Ideas were exchanged and student and staff views conveyed.  It is going to be, like Cranbrook School itself, a unique and fabulous space.  We hope to be able to share their ideas with you soon.  If you didn’t, for any reason, receive the letter and leaflet, they are available for download on this page.

Best wishes

Catherine Pearse, Campaign Chair
