Cranbrook School Parents’ Association
The object of the CSPA is to advance the education of pupils in the School in particular by developing effective relationships between parents, staff and others associated with the School, and engaging in activities or providing facilities, services or equipment which support the School and advance the education of the pupils.
The CSPA does this in a number of ways, including:
- Facilitating communication, co-operation and understanding between parents, school and staff members, communicating its activities, house news, funding news and our future events through CSPA newsletters and a dedicated website which is regularly updated
- Raising funds through fund-raising events and by asking all parents to join our very own Lotto monthly draw and TheGivingMachine which, when shopping online, enables giving for free to Cranbrook School CSPA. The raised funds are then used for purchasing equipment or subsiding activities for the school which are beyond the school’s increasingly constrained budget (the ‘nice to haves’ that make all the difference).
- Organising social events that parents (and teachers) actively participate in, thereby providing valuable opportunities to meet informally
- Organising and supporting information events for the benefit of both the parents and students such as Drug Awareness and Teenagers and Alcohol Forums, Mini Enterprise Schemes, Careers Fairs and cross curricular evenings.
