Cranbrook Together

Thank you for attending recent events at school when Cranbrook Together – our new annual giving scheme – has either been launched or discussed.

This is very timely given that recently the head teachers of 4,000 schools across the country, including those in Brighton, East Sussex and Surrey, sent a funding warning letter to parents explaining that they face having to have to cuts to staff numbers and subject choices due to future budget cuts.  The letter told parents about analysis from the Institute for Fiscal Studies which said that the government’s plans for school spending would mean a “real-terms cut of 2.8% in per-pupil funding between 2016 and 2022”.

For an update on Cranbrook School’s current funding situation and the steps we are taking to minimise the impact of cuts on teaching, please take a look at the presentation in the download section.
