Boarding Suitability Interviews for UK students will be held on:
Friday 30 November 2018

The Entrance Examination will be held on:
Saturday 17 November 2018

The application form will be available once applications open. Please download and complete the form for your child if they have Additional Educational Needs or Special Educational Needs which may require exceptional arrangements to be made.

It is very unusual for the school to have any places available for students applying outside of the normal round of admissions (i.e. entry to Year 7, Year 9 or Year 12). Students who wish to make an In-Year Application for a day place should contact the Registrar at Cranbrook School.

As one of the country’s few State Boarding Schools, the education provided by Cranbrook School is free to day students and boarders alike. The only charges levied by the Governors go towards boarders’ accommodation and live-in costs – far lower than Independent Sector fees.

Year 9 (13+) Admission Arrangements, September 2020

The examination arrangements for 13+ entry into Cranbrook School have been amended, so that the examination in November 2019 will consist of a Cognitive Ability Test.
