All students take an OCR GCSE course in World Religions with units on Judaism and on Social, Moral and World Problems from a Christian Perspective. There is a piece of coursework to accompany each unit, These are together worth 20% of the marks, while a 90 minute examination on each unit in the summer of Year 11 makes up the remainder. Coursework is done in the Summer of Year 9 and the Autumn of Year 10. Topics examined include War, Euthanasia, Abortion, Environmental Responsibility, Relationships, while in Judaism almost every aspect of a way of life is visited. The examination is taken at the end of Year 10.
