Horsley Girls
Horsley Girls (catchment area Hawkhurst, Sandhurst, Benenden), is a friendly, active house where you will be sure to find a true sense of commmunity and involvement with school life throughout the year.  With a motto of 'Carpe Diem', the drive for the House is always on enjoying life to the full whilst achieving potential.

Summer 2010
Always a busy term academically and HG still managed to have some fun!  A House Dinner with HB was a huge success and enjoyed by all who attended - lovely weather, good food, great entertainment and enthusiastic dancing!  Tutor groups enjoyed trips to the coffee shop or Wagamamas to celebrate the end of another year.  Our House Council started planning improvements and use of student voice to develop further the democracy that is evident within the house and the new Yr 13's started to make plans following their election into a number of posts.
As always we wish our leavers every success with their future and hope that they will keep in touch through our OC's network.  Many thanks particularly  to Hen Nowne for being a fantastic House Captain and all others for their contributions to ensure the smooth running of the house.

Autumn 2010
We welcome all the new Year 9 and Year 12 students to the house and hope that they will find their feet quickly and enjoy being a member of HG and Cranbrook school.  Future events include:Our annual Cake sale for Macmillan Cancer on Friday 24th September, please help us raise lots of money by making delicious cakes!  The House Play on Thursday 18th November and our first house outing to Somerset House to Ice skate on Thursday 9th December.  The Lenten Appeal Walk, Inter-House Cross Country and Hockey are other house events which as always we will strive to do well in.  Here's to a busy and action filled term!
