ELECTION QUESTION TIME

Students at Cranbrook School, Kent, are finding their political voices as they grill prospective parliamentary candidates about their plans for our country’s future.

The ‘Election Question Time’ will be held in the Queen’s Hall, Cranbrook School and involves all of the parties in the running for the constituency of Maidstone and The Weald. Scheduled for the 29th March at 7.30 pm, the event will also open the next generation’s eyes to the lesser known side of the current political structure. The event has been organised by A-level Politics student Ben Carpenter, with the help and support of Mr Young-Min, head of History and Politics at the School and Mrs Daly, Headteacher.

With an open floor for questions, the event is set to be a real test for the four politicians who are all relatively new to the political arena. It will be chaired by BBC South East Political Editor and presenter of The Politics Show, Paul Siegert.

The Panel will be:

Christopher Garland – Conservative Councillor (Maidstone)
Peter Carroll – Liberal Democrats PPC
Rajendra Seeruthun – Labour PPC
Stuart Jeffery – Green Party PPC

The event is free to attend and is open to the general public, however admission is strictly by ticket only. Apply for tickets by sending an email with your name and the number of tickets required to:-
