The School held its first Prep School Debating competition at the beginning of December which involved teams of pupils from six prep schools under the guidance of the School’s own team of debaters.
The teams from Cumnor House, St Ronan’s, Copthorne, Bodiam Manor, Vinehall and DCPS took part in two debates which culminated in the final between Cumnor House and St Ronan’s debating ‘This House Would Ban Zoos’.
During the day the teams were tutored and judged by 6th form and other students including Charlie Baker-Knight, Ed Woolgar, Frances Bussey, Warren Rousseau, Will Griffiths, Adrian Gibbs, Ellie Sanderson-Nash, Josh Powell, Lucy Nicholls, Jo Barker and Anna Booth-Clibborn. The final debate was judged by ex Cranbrook Deputy Head, Peter Allan.
