Pupils join Cranbrook School for a five-year course, and should be able enough to follow a programme leading to nine or more GCSE passes at grades A, B or C, followed by four or five AS courses and three at A Level (A2).
In 2011 our students achieved our best ever exam results.
The GCSE results were outstanding, with two thirds of the grades being at A* or A and 78% of students achieving 5 or more A grades or better. Not only was this a very successful year group collectively, but there were many outstanding individual performances, with 8 students achieving 10A*s or better.
At A-level this impressive year group once again broke records. With 100% pass rate and 45% of the grades at A* or A the students have been rewarded for all their hard work. At the top end 74% of grades were B or better and all students are happily placed at University or doing planned gap years next year. Again much individual success with 39 students achieving 3 A grades or better.
